It truly amazes me how many people are in my corner! I feel like everyday there is someone new cheering me on, wanting me to reach my goals!! My wonderful friends, my great parents, sister, aunts and uncles and cousins, of course all of you reading this!!
However there is one person who is always standing in my corner pouring water over my head when they keep trying to knock me down, my wonderful husband! When he was deployed this past year, that's when the majority of my weight loss happened. From 7000 miles away, he still was cheering me on constantly.
Now that he's home and off his orders, financially things are tough. However, somehow, when it comes to my goals, it seems like enough can't be done to help me! He's willing to give up so many of his pleasures, things that he wants, just 'cus there's something else I could try to lose this weight even faster! Whether it's getting a personal trainer, or trying some fandangled home workout equipment, or even some new pill that promises results! He thinks half the stuff I do is crazy (yes, he tells me he thinks it too!) but right after he says that he says "if it gives you the confidence you need to reach your goals, we'll find a way!"
I feel like I'm the modern day Lucy Ricardo. Everyday I come up with some new scheme to try to lose these inches (versus getting into Ricky's show!) However, at the end of the day, I know while Colin rolls his eyes at half the stuff I do, like Lucy and Ricky, it's gonna be happy ending!
