I am stuck!
I have about 25 more pounds to go. I am down 60, which I am SO very proud of, I'm not gonna lie, cus it took a lot to get there!
However, I am on the last leg and my body is feeling it!! It has gotten used to my exercise routines, it has gotten used to my diet and my weight is starting to flat line again. I have read article after article about how to lose those last pounds, and I tell ya, they don't sound effective to me, if that makes sense! They are SO restricting!
I'm thinking about cleaning out my fridge and cabinets and doing a full protein thing! I know for the few to no carb thing really isn't the most healthy, but it will get me to where I need to be to go sign my papers! Then bootcamp will help me keep it off for a while! :D
I need help on this, I'm not going to lie. I've had a really good hand on everything so far, but it's getting difficult! HELP ME!!!
Should you check in with Norman on that? You don't want to put yourself in jeopardy by doing something crazy that will backfire. Ask him at least about vitamins and supplements and things like that. You have been doing so well. Maybe cutting out a hundred calories a day might help rather than going Atkins. Talk to Mr. Alston. :)
ReplyDeleteI did South Beach a few years ago and the weight did come off (well I started exercising too), but it is pretty restrictive (no carbs or sugar for the first two weeks!). I found that once you hit Phase 2 of it (where you can "slowly" incorporate fruit and whole grains again) it was hard to stick to and slowly I was back to eating how I was before. Since it's kind of a lifestyle change, you have to really be ready to modify your diet big time. Plus I have heard that restricting carbs can really mess with your system. If you're willing to spend some money, I'd maybe talk to a nutritionist? They might really be able to give you some insight? Good luck!
